HELLO EL-JAY

WHY HAVE I BEEN AWAY SO LONG, YOU ASK? IDK, REALLY. BUT I READ MY FLIST FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS TODAY AND LOVED IT AND FELT THE NEED TO POST, SO VOULA, UN POST!

(capslock may be cruse control for cool, but the stearing, it is needed)

Anyways, I am in the real college, as opposed to not so real college which I graduated from this summer (YAY MUSIC DEGREE!). In Denton, TX, so if anyone is in the area come visit me. I'm doing Radio/TV/Film, and generally just having fun and making friends, along with lots of sewing. Check my deviantart for those updates: themouserfluff.deviantart.com

I miss TRF like crazy, and my newest fandom is Avatar the last airbender, yay for great anamated shows!

Writer's Block: Prone to puns

How would you describe your sense of humor in six words or less?

Sarcastic with a side of sillyness
What’s the best action adventure epic ever made?

Lord of the Rings. Hands-down, there is no comparison. It is the very definition of 'epic' for the big screen. Everything in those movies simply falls together perfectly.

Writer's Block: First Things First

What’s the first thing you do when you log into your computer everyday?

Check my LJ. Then check FML if its my iPod.

Today is a Sari day...

I am currently wearing my red sari FOR NO REASON AT ALL (yayness!). Its very fun and it lifts my spirts, seeing as the grey sky outside is decidedly BRINGING ME DOWN.

Faire was fun this weekend. Saturday was BATSHIT CRAZY at about 32,000 people, but fun was had by all as afterwards Galen and I went to see Rhee and Fluffy (no relation to the cat). Sunday was relaxing after saturday, and Galen got off early so we were able to have a 'mini'date of sorts, which was really nice and sweet. I still want to take an afternoon off with him the last weekend and have some fun.

The french court is awesome (I mean you soraaoi !) I very much want to hang out with them in a pretty dress and be a princess (pretty pretty princess party, anyone?). Hopefully I'll have time to join cast next year! (or Ben might kill me, lol)

School is drowning me. I have a huge case of 'I don't give a shit'-itize (and also a lot of Claytonitous (lol)) and Faire is bloody awesome.

Pictures to come at some point.

Nanowrimo

So, due to my crazy schedule, I am moving nanowrimo to December for me! There is just sooo much going on with school I have no time/energy/creativity. But here are the bunnies I currently have hatched.

Bunny #1: rennasance lady, basically cassandra's story

Bunny #2: scifi, a world were you must apply for a permit to have children. Religous gatherings are not permitted, and occupations are choosing at birth

Bunny #3: king Arthur in the modern world- ancient evil threatens britain and only Arthur can save it.

Bunny #4: something normal?

A post on faire will come at some point, along with my jacket. (it's almost done!!!!!!!)

Third verse, same as...every other one

Alright, I had to make sure it was crap.
I was not disappointed.Collapse )

Writer's Block: Three-day weekend

Do you prefer to spend a three-day weekend chilling at home or hitting the road?

At home. I do enough running around, when I finally get time I just wanna stay home and do all the things I've been missing, such as play the Sims 3 and sewing ;)

So I woke up this morning at 5 am thinking I was about to throw up. I didn't, and after some bread and a ginger pill it got better, but for some reason my stomach still feels the need to rebel against me. I can't lay down or it makes it worse. Why is it always on Monday? Last monday I took my meds on an empty stomach and that caused problems, but today I have no idea.

Ordered Galen's pattern from Margo Anderson. (The Gentalmen's Elizabethan, of course) Now I just need to finish my own skirts and bodices, and find some fabric for him (I think I have some wool left over, other wise I'll order it from Denver fabrics). All in a month. I really shouldn't be spending all my 3-day weekend to play the sims then.... :)

Writer's Block: Thanks to Technology…

What are some things you can do today because of technology that you couldn't do five years ago?

Lets see. I can get on the internet anywhere, thanks to wifi and the ipod touch. The ipod touch is essentially a mini computer, and I think in a few more years computers will be that small. The only thing it needs is a better way to type, but people are quickly coming up with answers to that.
